Pleasure Garden...

A pleasure garden suggests a place where one can contemplate the universe and the natural world. The exhibition was the result of Kerry's interest in the fractal beauty of nature, gardens and Bonsai. It was Opened by Michael Barnsley, Professor of Mathematics and included a temporary display of bonsai by the Canberra Bonsai Society; the link being the relationship between the intense contemplation of nature's patterns of growth in the art of bonsai to instinctive responses as a visual artist to the patterns and rhythms that exist in the natural world.
